Yana Bessarabova, 14
Congratulations to all! I am Maryna, the mother of a young athlete from Kharkiv Yana Bessarabova. She is now 12. She has been skating for more than 7 years. My daughter has been skating since she was 4 years old, she performs with her programs at various competitions every year. Figure skating involves devoting 3-4 hours a day to training on the ice and in the gym. The family's life schedule is adjusted for training. It's hard, but when you love what you do, you're happy. Everyone in our family loves figure skating. I also sometimes skate, trying to replicate the elements that my daughter can do.
This season has not been easy. At first, she was ill several times for a long time. She recovered a week before the war broke out in our country. The daughter needed to get in shape faster, because on February 23 she was to have competitions, the first of this season. She managed to ride an arbitrary program without falling. She was happy and immediately started discussing with her coach how to improve her performance in the future. There should be another competition in a week, and another in a month. But on February 24, all Kharkiv residents woke up at 5 am to the sound of gunshots. Our lives have changed a lot since then. In Kharkiv, they fired daily, including at apartment buildings. We spent a month and a half in our hometown, where the war was going on, sleeping in the corridor on the floor on the 8th floor of our house. There were days when they did not go outside at all. On March 11, my daughter celebrated her twelfth birthday without friends and relatives, only with her father and mother, without gifts, to the sounds of bombing. Rockets and mines were thrown at Kharkiv, and we saw fires from the window every day. When there was the Internet and there was a lull in the shelling, Jana was engaged in online training in a cramped room at home. Fragments of shells periodically flew into our yard. When shells began to hit the neighboring apartments, we left Kharkiv. We love our country very much, so we decided not to leave Ukraine. Now our family is in the western Ukrainian town of Chernivtsi. Here, although the sirens of the air alarm sound every day, but there is no fighting, the usual peaceful life continues. Chernivtsi residents temporarily sheltered us for free.
Unfortunately, there are probably no working skating rinks in Ukraine now. But here, in Chernivtsi, there are "dry" trainings, in a real hall, not online, there are classes in choreography, dance, general physical training. My child has been making plans for the summer since the beginning of the year, wanted to go to a children's health camp, then train hard. The Russian invasion thwarted all our plans. Thank goodness, we are alive.
I would very much like my child to spend at least two summer months in a peaceful, quiet place, be able to communicate with peers and practice in a real hall in person, not online. In his native Kharkiv, unfortunately, "live" training will not resume soon. Without them, athletes lose their athletic form very quickly. But to stay here, you need to rent a house for money (about $ 200 a month). Daily workouts in the gym also cost about $ 150. Our family is not able to pay such sums now, because my husband lost his job due to the war, and my income decreased by about 5 times. Enough only for food.
So we would be very grateful and happy if we had the opportunity to pay for our accommodation and training for at least two months. Instead, I can give online lessons in Ukrainian language and literature to your children or the children of your acquaintances, as I am a certified philologist.
There is my Facebook page, there are all the posts that show our hobbies. Also on Youtube are all of Jana's performances since 2015.
Thank you for listening. Peace and health to all.

Good evening. I need financial help to rent a house so that I can move to Bulgaria. Our coach is training there now. We now live in Romania, in Constanta. Unfortunately, there is no ice here (and skates and uniforms are with us all the time. I have two daughters training. And I have their older brother. Now, due to the war, there is a very long break in training. More than 2 months ... We live for free in Romania. Varna needs a large sum for us, $ 400-500 per month, just for housing.
I don't even know how much we need. Probably for three months. For housing.
My girls are not bad skaters. And they worked a lot, 6 days a week, 3-4 hours every day. And sometimes without days off at all. Constantly were at competitions. Our last competitions are on February 22 in Kharkov. And in 2 days the war began ... They have been on the ice since they were 3 years old. Baranovska Diana and Baranovska Vitalina.
I really want to return to training, but the financial side, unfortunately, does not allow. Sincerely, Natalia Baranovska. Have.
Thank you.

Good day!
Despite the very difficult times in our country, we continue to train and improve our skills.
This is the second escape from the war in Arina's life, because her native home is Donetsk, where she was born and was the first to skate in her life.
Now Arina is located in Brno (Czech Republic).
We are very grateful for the opportunity to train for free.
But we were warned that from June the training will be paid ($ 800 monthly).
We don't need an flat, food, sportswear...
We need ONLY the opportunity to attend the training for free!
Arina is very worried about the possibility of further training, because she really likes this sport!
I really hope that someone can help us!
I'll be very grateful for your help!
May be you have an other offer, please inform us!
We'll win!

Ivan has been figure skating since the age of 4, at the moment he is a candidate for master of sports in Ukraine and has been competing in the Advance Novis category in ice dancing for the second year. During his sporting life he achieved very little - victories in Ukraine, victories in international arenas. Figure skating has become his goal in life and he wants and will represent Ukraine, but at the moment we need help for further training, training camps, master classes. I would like to thank you in advance for any financial assistance.

Hello! My daughter, Sofiya Reitsen, born in 2010, has been skating professionally for 8 years.
In 2019 she switched from single ice dancing to pair, and a new dance pair was born: Sofiya Reytsen & Denis Fediankin. They performed successfully at various competitions and won prizes every time.
Now we need new dance skates, size 38 ½ Risport brand, and dance blades (MK DANCE or similar) for them, and also covers for the skates. Our skates size 37 are already too small for Sofiya.
About the athletic achievements of our dancing couple you can inform yourself from official sources: https://skateukraine.org/competitors/reytsen-fedyankin/results/?lang=eng.
We hope for your help!

Emilia DROBOT, 8
Hello. My name is Emilia and I'm 6 years old. I'm in Ukraine now. I have been doing figure skating since I was 4 years old. In November I had my first performance in Boguslav where I took 1st place.
In December, I brought second place from Bila Tserkva. The war in my country did not give the opportunity to show new elements at the performance in March. I need new skates to continue my journey in sports.

Yehor Barshak, 21
During the war I had to change the country, the coach, the partner. Now I'm in the United States, training with a famous coach, gaining experience to pursue a sports career, but it's very expensive. I need financial support to be able to train and compete in international competitions. I will be grateful for any help!

Dmytro Khrystenko, 11
We are forced to move with three children from Kharkiv to Prague due to damage to our house by enemy shelling.
Training has resumed, but about 12,000 kroons (US $ 500) must be paid for a month of training. One-time assistance from the Czech government is only enough for food and partial housing. The job was found in part, but still not enough to pay for training.
Having all the double jumps, my son would like to prepare well for the next season. That's why we really need to train hard during the summer.
We have videos of performances in the stages of Ukraine (this is our debut season), as well as videos of trainings already in Prague.
For full-fledged training on the ice, you need to pay for training in the club and at the camp, about $ 500 per month, preferably for the whole summer.
We left under fire, on the Kharkiv-Lviv train. Our relatives warned us in advance that many things could not be taken. We left with small backpacks, one for each (two adults and three children - 3,7,8 years). Already in Prague, the locals helped us a lot. Providing housing, Mr. Lukas and his wife Jindra helped with furniture, appliances, everything from toothbrushes to bedding, we are very grateful to them. Ms. Simona bought skates for us and provided a lot of necessary information. Coach Natalia offered sports clothes and some sports equipment.
We went through the period of adaptation and adapted to the new conditions, we are very grateful to all Czechs for their support and help.
Now we need regular training, participation in sports meetings to restore the ice program. Figure skating is a priority for my son. We spent half of the family budget on my son's sports. In the current conditions, we have not yet found a full-fledged job, so we are very limited in finances.
