Alternative names: Half-loop, Thorén jump

Euler is a jump that starts from the back outside edge of one skate (RBO or LBO) and is landed on the opposite foot and edge (LBI or RBI).

It’s most often used as a part of jump combination, connecting two jumps.

Under the 2026/27 ISU rules the Euler (code Eu) is a non-listed jump: it has no value and is not counted among the jumps of a combination or sequence. It can’t be used in short program combinations; in the free skating it can be used only once, between two listed jumps. Until 2025/26 it was scored as 1Eu with a base value of 0.50.
